Once your character runs out of wellness points they will no longer be playable and you will have to start a new character. Every time a character’s health reaches 0 they will lose 10 wellness points. It was intended to make the game harder and add character perma-death to servers.
A new feature called the “Dead is Dead” appears in this mod. The unpredictable nature makes it more challenging. However, this mod adds an extra layer to zombie interaction making it seem more realistic. It’s very easy to predict the vanilla zombies due to their limited mechanics. Zombie behavior becomes very sporadic in this mod making it a lot harder to predict a zombie’s movement or attack pattern. It’s better to play true survival with more than 5 players as the class system forces you to depend on other players’ skills to help you survive. The classes include Cop, soldier, chef, doctor and more. In the True Survival mod, you will have to choose a character class when you join the server.Įach class is unique and has its own strengths and weaknesses. New mobs including spiders and zombies have been added as well. Each boss has their own unique loot so they are worth hunting down. Fight against a builder named Bob, an angry housewife and more. Some of the default medical items have also been tweaked to improve their health benefits. New health items will be added, including booster shots, pills and vitamins that will help keep your character healthy. Bandits on the other hand will attack you on-site so keep an eye out for raids and bandit ambushes. This NPC is friendly and won’t attack you so there is no need to fear them. Survivors will live among you and roam the world attacking zombies, wildlife and even the new bandits. NPC Survivors and bandits will be added to your game world. Unlike any other mod, you can add NPC survivors and Bandits that will roam around your world. The War of the Walkers mod is one of the most popular mods for 7 Days to Die and adds so many extra features including new bosses, enemy mobs, unique loot, medical items and more. 
This year I have been experimenting with a lot of mods for 7 Days to Die and wanted to share my top 5 mods.
Survival games like this and Don’t Starve Together can become very repetitive after the first couple of play through as it’s always the same objective, survive as long as you can.ĭon’t get me wrong, I love survival sandboxes but I always like to customize my experience with mods, to keep the game fresh.
